FATHERS DAY!!

Today I woke up thinking about the role fathers play in ggrowing their kids.I think at some point they also deserve some credit.According to my view and someone who,also agrees with me a father is supposed to be a provider,a protector to his family.To those fathers who know that role and who fulfil it I`m lifting my thumbs up for them.

Then there is a problem of people whom have never seen,their fathers since they were born.I mean you cant really stand up proud and claim that person is  your father.It is really said and depressing at the same time.The role of a father is  to care for his or her kids,to love his wife.Also to lead by example and ,be a role model.

THE JUNE 16TH.

Since I can remember, my elders  have always always told me this about the June 16th:It is a day whereby we remember our students who died from police brutality in 1976.From my knowledge the students were protesting against the Bantu education,which enforced them to be taught in Afrikaans in all their languages.

Now people I think i`m very  worried about the value of this day,because it seems like many of us have lost the real definition of the day.I think the current Youth League is not as vibrant and goal driven as the 1976 youth were.The first thing that rings on the youth of today when you talk about the June 16, is going to the beach and maybe drinking alcohol till dawn.I think this is a problem and a very big one.
