HUNT BELIEVE'S CHIEFS WILL TAKE THE LEAGUE

Hunt: Impressed by Amakhosi

Despite Kaizer Chiefs being just four points on top of  Pirates in the PSL, but Supersport coach Gavin-Hunt believes that they will take the league. The Pefeni Glamour boys recorded their seventh Premiership victory in this campaign as they beaten Supersport United 2-1in Polokwne to maintain their unbeaten start.

Hunt who saw his team's first defeat this season, believes that there is no team in the PSL that could challenge chiefs in the field. Meanwhile the Amakhosi coach believes that there is plenty of pressure that comes with sitting on top of the league, but he believes that his players can handle that pressure.

CHIEFS REMAIN ON TOP



Kaiezer Chiefs remain unbeaten in nine matches after crushing Golden Arrows 3-0, at the Peter Mokhaba Stadium last night. In the first half Lehlohonolo Majoro managed to score the first goal for Chiefs, then a brace from Kingston Nkatha secured the win for Chiefs.

Going to last night's game Chiefs were without their, top goal scorer Bernard Parker who was out due to an ankle injury. Chiefs dominated the match, as they had the first scoring opportunity as early as the secong minute of the game. Gaxa played a good ball, into the Arrows eighteen area finding Majoro who fired a shot, but it was a good diving save for Arrows goalkeeper.

The first goal came 12 minutes later after a successful  build up involving Simphiwe Tshabalala who found Majoro who slotted home with his first time effort. The win was sealed by Nkathas brace during the second half of the game.

AFCON SETS TICKET SALES MARK



The South Africa's 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Local Organising Committee (LOC) aims to sell 400 00 tickets by end of December. The LOC CEO Mvuzo Mbebe said yesterday, that ticket sales were going very well but he added that more needed to be sold by the end of the year.
